Testimonial weekly meetings

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Dear Friends,
    I would like to say thank you for the wonderful Wednesday meetings that you send out each week. Many years ago I attended a group meeting during the week not affiliated with any church but a place to go for strength, hope, comfort. It was designed as a source of ideas where you could share what you were learning and take back ideas to apply daily for growth by turning your life over to the care of God. I still needed more. It is a tremendous blessing now to have the Plainfield Christian Science Independent Church to participate in which goes out all over the world. Each week we are shown how the complete practical Science of Christ works powerfully in our lives. We should never forget what a blessing this Church is that understandingly teaches the pure laws of God and how to apply them. You can never under estimate how much a simple gratitude or share can impact another’s life for I know from my own experience how much it has helped me. Each share builds together for a force of good. Thank you to all who openly share their experience, strength and hope.
