God Is Individual Consciousness

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

How wonderful to receive our daily bread each day! The article God Is Individual Consciousness by Bicknell Young, available on our website and our YouTube channel (https://articles.plainfieldcs.com/early-workers/bicknell-young/god-is-individual-consciousness/), was unfolded to me as my daily bread. So many truths and ways in which I MUST live my life.

I am grateful and sometimes amazed (thankfully amazed) at how truths I have read, heard and studied for years, now have true meaning to me. I recognize this as spiritual growth. Just now, I searched Science and Health for the word ‘proportion’. I was expecting to find only this statement, “Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts. (Science & Health 261: 4-7). Not so!! Proportion appears in Science & Health 34 times. Each statement declares that our daily experiences align more with God’s plan as we understand/claim/know/hold in our consciousness the Truth of our being.

I am learning, as today’s calendar (1/11/2022) statement says “All the work we do is not to change something but to know the perfection we reflect.” by Florence Roberts I now see this message in all that I study. This Truth has been always been available to me, it has never changed and will never change. I have changed and I am very grateful that I am changing!!

So grateful to God, Mrs. Eddy, our church, the love and support of all church membership.
