Ye are the temple of God.

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” I Corinthians 3

“A place in which the divine presence specially resides, a place of worship; a sacred place, God’s gracious presence.” Webster’s 1828

“…walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.” I Thessalonians 2

Picturing a place of divine presence gave me pause. Am I really behaving as I believe that I belong to God? Therefore I ask myself would I fill my physical home with garbage? So why would I allow garbage into my thinking about myself, others and places. These definitions remind me to approach all I do and all mankind with a greater reverence.
