Inspired Bible Lessons

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I am constantly seeing the one divine Mind in operation in the thoughts of those, who prepare our weekly Bible Lessons. This week’s Lesson has brought a smile and great joy, each time I have completed my study of the Lesson. The same message delivered by Paul to start the Lesson is, many centuries later, delivered again, by Mrs. Eddy, to end the Lesson.

Golden Text: “Your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:5)

Last citation from Science and Health: “When we come to have more faith in the truth of being than we have in error, more faith in Spirit than in matter, more faith in living than in dying, more faith in God than in man, then no material suppositions can prevent us from healing the sick and destroying error.” (Science and Health, Page 368: 14-19)

    Thank you Lesson writers.

Amen to that! Thankyou for this Kerry! Yes our lesson writers, our readers and Practitioners and teachers bless us all continually in sharing inspired thinking with us. I am amazed at how much I am learning and how strong in the Christ has “Fort Plainfield” helped me to be! Lots of Love!
