From Darkness To Light

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Isaiah 42: 16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight.

    Why remain in any darkness when the promise of that great Light is fulfilled. This light SH p 558 says……. it has for you a light above the sun, for God “is the light thereof.” Yes, Light that NEVER even dims!

    Thank you–wonderful! And I also love the end of the verse that says, “These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.” No matter how long we may have been in that darkness, God will never forsake us. Anyone who reaches out for the Light will find it—it’s there for everyone!
