Embodying the Christ-idea

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Many thanks for all the treasures given in the Sunday, December 3, 2023 Roundtable: the research done and clarification of verses and statements in our Lesson Sermon, help to put into action these great truths! Especially helpful was the mention of Chapter 16 in Mary Baker Eddy HER SPIRITUAL FOOTSTEPS by Gilbert C. Carpenter, during the Weather Committee report. In this chapter, it clearly explains the value in Christian Science, that we do not idolize Mrs. Eddy, but recognize her purity and spiritualization of thought, and thereby understand that we may follow in her footsteps to imbibe the Christ-idea, and demonstrate in small or large ways the Truth of God’s all-power and all-presence. Our God is GREAT and our God is GOOD!
