A dear voice

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I would like to send my love and condolences to all at Plainfield following the recent passing of dear Carol.

She was high on my list of people I would have given a big hug to if and when I ever do manage to visit Plainfield.

I’m sorry that hug won’t happen now, but I am so grateful for the communications I did have with her, mostly when she reached out by email to ask for written copies of various testimonies.

I am so very grateful for the many hours she put in reading much of the literature on the Plainfield website, including the 500 Watching Points and others. Her voice was like that of a dear friend whenever she read the Weekly Lesson.

She spoke almost every word with a smile, and her sentences ended with a hug.

So although I won’t get to meet her in this world, I probably didn’t need to.

I celebrate her moving on, but acknowledge her dear friends at Plainfield. I know she will be very missed.

Sending so much love to you all and knowing that the everlasting arms of Love are wrapped tightly around each and every one connected to this incredible church.

Her readings were given with a joyous, Christly inspiration that could be felt.

Love to everyone at PCSC INDEPENDANT.
