Moral Mercury

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    “Man’s moral mercury, rising or falling, registers his healing ability” is a fact which has become clear to me by depending exclusively upon God for all healing. I realize that what I depended upon from Christian Science before coming to Plainfield was what Mrs. Eddy termed “faith healing” because it didn’t elevate my understanding of God and thus His true omnipotence. I’m very grateful to learn from the many resources at Plainfield to test the source of my thoughts and then how to apply divine Science to begin to eliminate the incorrect ones; this Lesson being a great example!
