The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

    Thank you for the Bible lesson this week. I also found this statement in Science and Health helpful in light of what appears to be happening in the world.

    “How true it is that whatever is learned through material sense must be lost because so-called knowledge is reversed by the spiritual facts of being in Science. That which material sense calls intangible, is found to be substance. What to material sense seems substance, becomes nothingness, as the sense-dream vanishes and reality appears.” (312:1)

    Thank you — this made me think about real substance from Science and Health p. 468. “Spirit, the synonym of Mind, Soul, or God is the only real substance.” “and …. individual man, is a compound idea, reflecting the divine substance of Spirit.”
    Also, I like to read A TREATMENT FOR EVERY DAY by Mrs.Eddy where it states, ” No power can bind you. God is the only life, SPIRIT IS THE ONLY SUBSTANCE, Love is the only cause, harmony is the only law, now is the only time.”
