Mary Baker Eddy Her Spiritual Footsteps

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I’m so thankful to your church for publishing the Carpenters’ book, Mary Baker Eddy, Her Spiritual Footsteps. This morning I got such peace from reading Chapter 62, Handling the Weather. “When I take it up, I face the clouds and see God’s face, Love shining right through; then the clouds scatter and there is no storm to break upon any one. The weather expresses our concept of it, and can be handled the same way as any claim, if you do not hold it as something apart from you, governed by some other power or almanac, etc. God governs all; this is the way Jesus stilled the tempest. You have dominion over all.”
