Thanks for the testimony meeting!

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Thank you for this past Wednesday’s Testimony Meeting: “Our Business is God’s Business; Let us labor in love” and also for today’s calendar statement.
The testimony meeting ends with the line from Miscellaneous Writings p.230:25 “Learn to labor and wait.”
I’m learning that joy and happiness is in the labor and serving of God.
Today’s calendar statement is so helpful to me. The statement is from Mary Baker Eddy “There is no power in a lie – Truth reigns.”
I am gaining so much more courage to challenge hypnotic lies and keep knowing what the real Truth is, even though I might not see it at the moment. But, to keep at it. If I keep on and wait patiently on God and trust in his goodness for all, I know only good results will surely follow. I am seeing this, step by step, and I am so grateful!
Thank you to the Plainfield practitioners, teachers, members and all who share their inspiration! It’s really helpful.
