Reflect and radiate.

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I’m very grateful for the discussions on ‘radiating’ during various class sessions recently. Due to this, the following item in “The Healer” by David Keyston page 139 caught my attention:

    Paraphrasing the situation: Mrs. Eddy had to help a family with several sick members and remained for some days leaving a pot with a beautiful flower on the window sill. Upon returning the soil was dried out and the plant withered; a friend with her saw it also. Mrs. Eddy went to other rooms opening windows and heard the friend exclaim. Returning to the room Mrs. Eddy saw the plant completely restored to it’s previous beauty without being watered!! Quote from book: “This was the result of the truth she had been realizing. (the truth that God and all of God’s ideas reflect infinite Life, never subject to mortal law, decay or death.) Mrs. Eddy made the divine law of the Kingdom of Heaven practical in her continual radiating of God’s love.”

    This is a beautiful story about Mrs. Eddy……thank you!
    In Finance By Bicknell Young, he writes, ” If you are under Spirit, you are no longer under the curse of law ( God-power is entirely outside thought-taking.)
