The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Thanks for these posts. It struck me that in this story as in the ‘sentencing’ of Jesus, the highest authority in the land can be tricked into doing the wrong thing, against their own judgement by evil doers operating under mesmeric influences.

I hadn’t noticed in previous reading of this story of Daniel that at least in this case Darius ‘fasted’ all night. Even if he wasn’t able to understand maybe the absolute best way to pray at least he repented over his part in the wrongdoing and though trapped in a law not of God did his best to make amends.

I had noticed in the story of Zachariah when he burned the incense in the temple the whole congregation was outside also praying.

Those are two examples of the power of ‘Unity Watches’ 🙂
