The Divine Duty to Forgive

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I would sincerely like to express my gratitude to Amanda for an outstanding contribution to the Wednesday Evening Meeting by providing powerful readings that were in perfect harmony with each other. They have provided such an inspirational tool in learning to forgive. It is like a testifier indicated in his testimony tonight that the things we learn through the Bible Studies, Roundtable Discussions or even readings from a Wednesday Evening Meeting will often times surpass what one might learn through class instruction. I am so appreciative of this church-for the dedicated practitioners, for all the support provided by members as well as those who are not members but are providing supportive thoughts for the pure cause of Christian Science and this church. I am so grateful to God for all the blessings that have been bestowed on the Plainfield Christian Science Church, Independent.
“Whatever inspires with wisdom, Truth or Love – be it song sermon or Science – blesses the human family with crumbs of comfort from Christ’s table, feeding the hungry and giving living waters to the thirsty.” Science and Health 234:4
