"Joyfully acknowledge"

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“…joyfully acknowledging now and forever God’s supremacy, omnipotence, and omnipresence.” (S&H 521:10) and also, “…come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him…” (Ps.95:2)

Acknowledge — (Webster, 1828) to own with gratitude; to avow; to admit to be true.

While doing my watch this morning, I opened to Watches, Prayer, Arguments (p.57) and read: “Hold the line every day: no fear; God governs all. No m.a.m. (malicious animal magnetism) to feel or be felt. Mind governs all.” — Mary Baker Eddy.

This was a command to me to never give in to the claim that there is anything other than good going on. No matter what the news media (mortal mind) tries to present, I will joyfully and gratefully know that God is on the scene, all-powerful and ever-present.
