The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Thanks Joanne. I love your choice of the word stimulus.. This part of the meaning from Webster is more appropriate to me :that which rouses the mind or spirit (s).
In addition to courage and conscious power should be what these commands from the Almighty Father-Mother of us all requires; humble obedience to God’s laws!
Deuteronomy 6:18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers,
19 To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.

He also made us CAPABLE of hearing and obeying Him!
Deuteronomy 4:36 (to :), 39
36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee:
39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

The answer to all our ills and confusion is “blowing in the wind” in these verses above…. Let’s HUMBLY OBEY the ONLY LAWGIVER.

Love is the liberator.
