The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

The lawyers for error and discord are very convincing and aggressive, constantly attacking my consciousness with messages of evil and dismay, whether it is things from the news, or acts from people around me, or from my own belief in a material body-selfhood. Lies seem reality.
Then I have to pray and think deeply, to realize that God is Mind, He is a Thinker, and can create and give only thoughts and ideas. I have to blot out all sense of a personal, material self, and persistently allow only His thoughts, the presence of that Love which is All-in-all.
Divine thought constitutes Truth, or reality. There is nothing else.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
