The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

In contrast, Mrs. Eddy provides us with a definition of Abel, which is a state of thought that is approved of God.
“Watchfulness” – Ever watching for those selfish, mortal thoughts. Not letting them take root in thought.
“Self-offering” – Offering himself in service as God, as divine Principle directs. Putting his service to God and mankind above his own needs.
“Surrendering to the creator the early fruits of experience” – This is a state of gratitude to God for what he has and being content with it. It is a surrender of the false beliefs that man creates or man accomplishes what God has created and what divine Love has accomplished. This state of thought gives to mankind without thought of receiving anything in return. It tithes willingly without fear of not having enough.

Love is the liberator.
