The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“I thank God to be learning that life is not complicated, nor does it have to be a drag half the time. There are challenges each day, of course, but God has given each of us the ability to have “dominion over the earth.””

It’s so true! I remember Mrs. Evans would sometimes refer to “KISS” — Keep it simple, sweetie! The so-called human or mortal mind thrives on humanly fabricated complicated nonsense derived from the material senses, which is more often than not a recipe for disaster.

Keeping thought on God–being obedient to him as the Bible instructs–keeps things clear and simple. Keep “plugged in” to God, and He will provide everything we need. It’s not complicated… but it requires turning away from all the clamor of the material picture. I love this “recipe”–anyone can follow it! It’s beautifully simple. Thank you.
