The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I never liked being corrected either. I wanted everything to be “nice.” But without the corrections I never would have changed my ways and would have continued to suffer because of it.

In the Moffat Translation of the Bible, in Hebrews 12:11 it says, “Discipline always seems for the time to be a thing of pain, not of joy; but those who are trained by it reap the fruit of it afterwards in the peace of an upright life.”

Thank God for everyone who loves enough to give a correction and get us on the path of right thinking. It requires love for God and man and the teaching in the Plainfield Church shows us how to give corrections with love. I am very grateful.

Love is the liberator.
