The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Matthew 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

To me this also means that my gratitude should be in action; meaning I must have faith enough in the simple Truths (which we have all been given) to use them, or I cannot really say I am grateful for them. If I appreciate something I use it, trust it, take care of it and Love it enough to make sure I do not lose it.

So when any claim comes up do I at least start with the simple Truths, the fact that I am the expression of Life, Truth and Love and any others that comes to mind? Or do I affirm mortal mind’s words saying, oh, I don’t know enough,I am not worthy, I doubt and be tricked into not using what I know. If I consistently apply even the simple spiritual facts, I am saying “I have” and more will be revealed to me because I am receptive to God’s word. If I “bury” what I have come to know, I am saying “I have not,” and will lose (it will be taken away) what ever I had!
