The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

After reading this beautiful Lesson a couple of days I realized that the Angel in Rev.10 says to take the ‘little book’ and then do exactly what Mrs. Eddy did for three years as outlined above.

Thank you also to the teaching here at Plainfield because in the past it seemed like all my studies and reading was with unseeing eyes. Once in a while I got enough of a glimpse to keep me going but now can better understand and apply Christian Science.

Too bad I didn’t have this level of consciousness when I did keep ‘aloof’ from the ‘other’ Christian Science and did a lot of reading on my own. But I’m grateful even for that because it shows how important ‘sharing’ God and Christian Science is; I couldn’t do it with understanding in a vacuum. Also reading the Bible and Mrs. Eddy’s writings with the correct desire is much and never a waste of time:)
