The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Thanks for your post!

From Gethsemane to Golgotha, Jesus subjected himself to the worst possible discord – physical, mental, emotional – that sense could possibly bear. This was the price he paid in order to demonstrate for us the unreality of personal sense experiencing unreality of discord. Regardless of the great flood of error relentlessly poured out upon him, regardless of the jarring harshness and dissonance clamoring for his attention, Jesus kept himself in tune with Harmony, attuning himself to the chord of Truth that the world had lost, having attuned itself to everything out of tune with that chord.

So grateful that after many years of persistence and obedience to Christian Science practice as taught here, even the smallest degree of emulating Christ’s example(staying at one with God) gives the dominion to overcome evil’s temptation with immense grief of a dear one’s passing. There is no better staff to lean on than the assurance of God’s great Love; the awareness of His Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Omniscience and Omniaction!! It is wise to strive to stay in tune with Principle.

Love is the liberator.
