A Healing Church

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Thank you for the very relevant readings, given on Oct. 31, on “Handling the Claims of Witchcraft.” I’m so grateful that this church provides to the world the answers to so many problems, current and universal. Mrs. Eddy worked and sacrificed in her life to benefit mankind. This church has many offerings: services, history learned in the Bible studies and instruction given in the Roundtable discussions, publications (including books and articles), and many other offerings, which inspire, including music – all are faithful to Mary Baker Eddy’s Church Manual. And because they are obedient to the Manual, they result in healing.

    Mary Baker Eddy said to follow her only so far as she followed Christ. And that is what this church does. I am grateful every day for the inspiration that I find here and that I can share with others. I am grateful for the effective and powerful healing work of the practitioners, and for all the love that is expressed in this church and sent out to the world.

    Gary, thank you for the readings last night. I enjoyed listening to the beautiful music, singing the hymns, and hearing the wonderful testimonies, especially inspired by “Get me to the church on time!”
