A wonderful lesson

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I started my morning and God told me to do something. Sadly, I did not obey. Shortly after, I asked God for something. I did not receive it. I said to God, “Why won’t you let me do this?” I immediately heard God in a loud, stern voice, “Why didn’t you do as I asked?” Wow!!! I quickly did as God had asked and my day immediately changed, for the better. As I went about doing tasks, with God’s help, mortal mind kept trying to get in the way and cause discord. Tried as it might, I was able to see what error was trying to do, know it had no power to do it, laugh at it loudly and not allow it to disturb me. It is such a great feeling to bring error to its nothingness.

    Grateful for this and every lesson!!!
