The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    II Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. This made me think about what I have been learning at Plainfield. This glory of God also pertains to all things in our lives that are done to the glory of God. EVERYTHING… whether we are driving or in church. This has been a huge new leap for me, and when you do all things because of God’s glory, and to His glory, our hearts do shine.

    And it’s wonderful how Christan Science makes all this practical. To live to the glory of God is not some ethereal thing. It is to respect that which is true, to do everything out of love for mankind, to encourage everything that respects life, to be absolutely principled in every relationship and activity. This glorifies what God is and what God makes.

    I find it very helpful at times to go back to synonyms to get the practical sense of what the Bible is telling us.

    Mrs. Eddy did mankind the greatest service in giving us her revelation of the science of Christianity.
