We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

    “And they cast him out.” (John 9:34)
    Dummelow translates this as: They excommunicated him.
    And then further says, “When the door of the synagogue was shut, the door of the Kingdom of Heaven was opened.”
    In other words, it was then possible for the healed man to fully recognize and acknowledge the Christ, Truth. I thought this was similar to what happened to our church. When the Boston organization excommunicated us, the door of the Kingdom of Heaven (all good) was opened, and those who believed and adhered to Mrs. Eddy’s pure Christian Science came and supported us. The chains of a material sense of church were broken, and the Christ, Truth, was then able to prosper and flourish as never before.
