Blessings of the Holy Season

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Many thanks for all the powerful truths to work with, which were given in the Sunday, December 8, Roundtable, the wonderful Lesson Sermons, the Unity Watches, the Daily Emails, and all the articles on the website carousel. Besides learning “What Christmas Means to Me” by Mary Baker Eddy, another essential and inspiring item recommended to work with in this Holy Season is “The Power of a Right Idea” found in Addresses by Martha Wilcox. If you don’t own a copy, we are very fortunate to have the entire book available on the website! So inspiring is all this study, it really sets you apart from all “the harsh noises of the day” and brings you in thought closer and closer to your oneness with our Father-Mother God. Another blessing can be found under “Noteworthy News” on the website; after feeling your closeness and connection to God, click on “The Blessing” (Numbers 6:24-26) at this website — listen and watch (full screen if on the computer) to voices all over the world singing and praising the Lord, with hope, faith, and happiness — truly these happy faces and joyful voices will uplift your spirit, and lead you to feel the connection that we all have in our oneness with our Father-Mother God!
