Buoy in the water –7/26 Roundtable

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

We had a short discussion regarding buoys yesterday and I wanted to add some insight. I have sailed over 35,000 miles and am an experienced navigator. Buoys are our life-line and steer us safely into and out of ports—either day or night. At night most are lighted with different colors for port and starboard and with individual blinking patterns. They give us notice of shoals and reefs. While studying navigation the very first knowledge to gain is everything about the buoys and all that they mean. The most important item to notice while looking at a chart of the sea are the buoys. Buoys have truly saved boats and lives and are the mainstay of anyone out at sea.
