Christian Science

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I first read Science and Health With Key to The Scriptures when I was 18 yrs. old. I was raised in another denomination and my first healing occurred while visiting a home of Christian Scientists. In Science and Health on page 558 It states: “To mortal sense Science seems at fist obscure, abstract and dark; but a bright promise crowns its brow.” I struggled with understanding, but something that God did wouldn’t let me give up. I was always brought back to Christian Science and here I am today at Plainfield surrounded by love, understanding of God, support, and comfort.
