"Doing, Not Trying To Do"

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I have to give humble thanks for the article on the Carousel titled: “Doing, Not Trying To Do” By Martha A. Holton. I feel this was placed here just for me and I am so grateful for it! I realize how I have been trying to do God’s will instead of obeying God completely and DOING His will! I have to be continually awake to this error and have the moral courage to face fears, and seeming opposition and do right. I know I can do this. I have already received tremendous blessings from this lesson and I am so grateful to the members of this Church for their exemplary conduct in living Christian Science and the loving guidance and corrections. It’s really awesome and I am know what I need to work on and I am humbly doing just that!!
