Dominion over all things?

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Sometimes when reading the Bible lesson, I can miss the incredible profundity of a statement. Case in point in the first sentence of Science and Health in the lesson:

“The divine Mind is the Soul of man, and gives man dominion over all things.” That took my breath away! What a great gift just this one sentence is, to ponder and apply to everything that can happen during my day.

How can I be less than infinitely grateful to God? And to Mrs. Eddy for bringing us the Science of Christ?

Most importantly I have dominion over my own thinking, and the power to keep it focused on God!
