Emulate the life of Jesus

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I am grateful to be a member of this church and for all that I am learning so as to gain deeper understanding of Christian Science as given
by Mrs. Eddy to the whole world. This understanding is helping me to be more conscious of the allness of God, and my days are more peaceful and happy.
Recently I read what I thought was a simple calendar statement that arrived by email. The words were from Mrs. Eddy, and which said, “Emulate the life and character of Jesus. If you would be a good healer, study the life of Jesus”. Now isn’t that one of the dearest instructions to receive as we work to better practice this holy Science and follow Christ as she did? I think we can easily start by studying the Sermon on the Mount as Mrs. Eddy has also suggested.
I am grateful that I can attend our holy church services from a distance; I am grateful for the weekly Bible Lessons, the various magazines and articles, and for all the work that is prepared daily for the benefit of us all. Very much appreciated!!
