"Eternal unfolding of Life…"

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“Only by losing the false sense of Soul can we gain the eternal unfolding of Life as immortality brought to light.” (S&H, cit. #2)

In the article “Age” (on our website), Mrs. Eddy states: “Each day will begin and unfold under the authority of divine Mind, and will be well-ordered, rightly balanced, filled with spiritual good.”

“Unfolding” (Webster, 1828) – opening; expanding; disclosing; displaying; declaring; revealing.

Therefore, Life is not a point in time, nor a stage of existence, but a forever expanding, declaring, etc., of Life, of God, of good, of “the joys of Soul.” As I get rid of a false sense of myself as a limited mortal, all these joys of Soul will begin to appear more clearly to me, every day, every moment. What a tremendous and exciting, thought! I pray to God to hold on to this magnificent Truth…and pray to have this Truth hold on to me and all.
