Forum Highlights #168

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Thank you so much for Forum Highlights #168, covering Lesson Sermons SACRAMENT and LIFE. Our Lessons are so wonderful and timely, all the daily Forum comments dig in, divulge, and explain meanings and practical applications we can all use; and Forum Highlights completes this study with added information and links to learn more! This issue, #168, ended with hymn 58; the second verse says:
    “Come we daily then, dear Father, Open hearts and willing hands, Eager ears, expectant, joyful, Ready for Thy right commands, We would hear no other voices, We would heed no other call; Thou alone art good and gracious, Thou our Mind and Thou our All.”
    In our Unity Watch for August 18 was this sentence:
    “We are not sending His Word out into an indifferent world, but to the waiting ears and hearts of His children!”
    Thank you all who selflessly do this important work to bless all mankind.
