Gaining "more correct views of God and man"

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

As mortals gain more correct views of God and man, multitudinous objects of creation, which before were invisible, will become visible.

In the years before I came to this church, my life seemed to get progressively smaller. I felt the world had less and less to offer, and inwardly I felt so empty. Things that were initially visible and tangible to me, such as hope and joy, eventually faded away.

Since arriving at this church, and taking part in these studies, I have had this increasing sense of the absolute enormity of God’s creation. There is so much to learn, and witness, and do, and feel, and be grateful for. In a way, it feels like I was looking out into the darkness of space thinking, “There’s almost nothing out there” and then turning around and seeing our huge Sun! How did I miss it?

To be a part of something ‘more’ is wonderful – but to know that He has a place and purpose for all of us individually in the infinite whole is astounding! Nothing is left to chance; everything is through His intention. For these previously invisible things to become visible and slowly clearer is incredible, to the point where even the phrase, “God is good” has more meaning each day.

I am so grateful for this Science and the many changes it has brought. I am also grateful that hope and joy are fully visible and tangible again. Thank you!
