God Reverses Evil

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

    SH page 390 “When the first symptoms of disease appear, dispute the testimony of the material senses with divine Science…… ‘Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him’ Suffer no claim of sin or of sickness to grow upon the thought.”

    Watches Prayers Arguments page 124
    “There is a spiritual reversal for every argument of evil, and to declare it, agrees with your adversary “quickly.” God will reverse every argument of evil, before it reaches us, through the Word, which is the two-edged sword, which liveth and abideth forever. We must handle the claim of trickery, slander, meddlesomeness of the human mind.”

    I was delighted to find the above that helps me understand how to agree with the adversary quickly. Reverse the claim immediately for God does the reversal of the claim before it reaches us. God’s Word is a mighty power .
