The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    This lesson on Reality is a power house! The word power or powerful is used many times along with salvation, savior, and dominion thrown in for good measure!

    I love I Chronicles 29: 11 in the Responsive Reading which says “Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.” To me, this theme of God’s allness and power runs throughout the Bible from beginning to end. The Lord’s Prayer and the first commandment. He is our rock and salvation. And in Science and Health it says, “Insist vehemently on the great fact which covers the whole ground, that God, Spirit, is all, and that there is none beside Him. There is no disease.” Vehemently – Urgently; forcibly; with great zeal or pathos.(Websters 1828) No “lavender kid gloves” there! Talk about blasting a hole in error’s lies and mesmeric suggestions. Thank you for this lesson and the lesson writers. So grateful I found this church.
