God's Future

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I’m thankful for Wednesday night’s readings and for learning in this church, what it means to trust all to God.

I’ve always found it very tempting and very easy to worry about what’s going to happen and how and when things will happen, and this has always come with a feeling of fear, doubt, anxiety, and stress in some form, often resulting in a physical complaint.

Since learning to give everything to God, our loving, protecting, and ever-providing Father-Mother, who knows all, knows best and is always right on time, I’m better able to trust that anything that is to happen, can only happen according to His plan, with the sincere prayer that His will be done, and I’m be coming more and more grateful to see His will unfold daily in all areas of life.

This practice has made me more confident, humble, and most of all more patient, and it’s allowing me to be of better service to those around me who are striving to trust more in God’s power and infinite love for us all, finding peace in understanding that the past, present, and future are His.
