God's Government.

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I was drawn to Plainfield Independent Church as it seemed free of cliques and politics which had always turned me off attending church.

    Even church members, who have their home all around the world, might have differing opinions in this area.

    I might feel the President, Prime Minister, etc. was rightfully elected, and another feel he was wrongfully elected or vice versa, so who is right?

    The Bicknell Young article called “The United States of America” spoke to me.
    He says:

    “I know one thing, that God governs the universe, no matter what the Republicans or Democrats do, and I have not seen either party do much that resembles God.”

    “Nothing can occur that is a serious menace, if we know what our country is, and what governs it. There is one Mind, one Consciousness. This Consciousness is all that is going on.”

    “Thy kingdom is come; Thou art ever-present.” (S&H 16:31)

    From the lesson this week:

    “God creates and governs the universe, including man.” (S&H 295:5)
