God's Help is Always at Hand

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I have been wanting to join our church’s Unity Watch for the past week but was not successful. Finally, I set an alarm to notify me each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

    Tonight, I was in excruciating pain and was so wrapped up in it that I did not even think of changing my thought. I prayed for God’s help. I went up to my bed and continued to be in pain. My alarm sounded with the message Unity Watch. THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!! While waiting for the Unity Watch to begin, I changed my prayer to one that turned my thought to God. I pray, if mortal mind tries to get me in this type of a hold again, that I will remember this lesson and turn my thought to God, knowing that His Truth is real and error is unreal and knowing that relief from mortal mind’s lie is always at hand.

    After the Unity Watch, God told me to get up and go do some tasks that needed to be done. I got up without pain and turned my computer on. While I was completing the tasks, I turned on our YouTube channel. The audio that played was the Roundtable from November 25th. The discussion was exactly what I needed to hear. I printed out articles that were mentioned and treasure all the ideas that were presented. I will continue to work with the these Truths and expect my perfection!!!

    Each and every day, I am more grateful for the love of God, Mrs. Eddy, our church and all mankind, for we are all children of God!!
