Gratitude

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    As an aftermath of Ida only one of two elevators in our apartment building is functioning and that on a limited basis. Yesterday when waiting for the 12 to 12:30 access several residents and a housekeeper were waiting around the elevator doors. When one of the residents started to crowd to the front I piped up Bob, others were before you. Our sensible, practical housekeeper said I’m not going to referee! Later I thought of Jesus’ words “ who made me a judge and divider over you?” What a wonderful angel thought for my husband and I to just back off and at least not be part of the jostling.

    For a couple of days we also lost our internet. I mentioned this to someone who is a church member, who saw this as an attack on the church. Shortly thereafter the internet was restored. Boy I sure missed Plainfield audios and was so grateful for the quick restoration of service. Thank you for the wonderful audios and whole internet sight.
