Gratitude for Testimonies

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I would like to express gratitude for the various testimonies I’ve heard over the past six months at your Wed. night meetings. Last Wednesday evening, I was faced with an opportunity to cling to the Truth and not submit to error. The battle went on for quite a while in the night, but I kept affirming the Truth, as all of you have shared at one time or another. Your own victories in similar circumstances gave me added strength to hang on. I need not buy the lie. I began to feel a lessening, a letting up of intense pressure and was able to return to bed and sleep well with no adverse effects of animal magnetism in the morning. God is Love. Thank you, Christ Jesus, Mrs. Eddy, Plainfield Church, and loving practitioner support.
