Heaven By Probation and Progression?

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Heaven: Harmony; the reign of Spirit; government by divine Principle; spirituality; bliss; the atmosphere of Soul. SH p.587.
    What a heartening definition of Heaven, correcting the false concept of it being a place somewhere, where only some chosen can go to, or if on judgement day you pass the test you may be welcomed there. What a lie!!!

    Thank God for these Truths revealed through our study of Christian Science, that everyone who works and walks with God ( as Christ Jesus’ example demonstrated) can realize that reign of Spirit, harmony, the atmosphere of Soul, awaiting all, NOW, EVERYWHERE!
    None are so sinful to be denied this state of Harmony; we all have the opportunity through our trials (which are blessings in fact seen correctly) to wake up from our slumber in materialism, examine our relationship with God and daily commit to His ways and live it to the best of our ability. God works with us!

    There is no special day to come when we will all be judged and some let into heaven and others condemned , neither does dying exempt us from this hourly probation which brings us steadily closer to Heaven which is ours to realize and Love.

    There is but one way to heaven, harmony, and Christ in divine Science shows us this way. It is to know no other reality — to have no other consciousness of life — than good, God and His reflection, and to rise superior to the so-called pain and pleasure of the senses.
