I have not spoken in secret

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

    When I was young, I had a toy that showed pictures in 3D. You had to look into it and then adjust two separate images so each was correct for one eye, and then, once they aligned, the image sort of came alive. Reading “I have not spoken in secret” this week, I remembered this toy. I realized that His voice was in me, not in secret, but very plainly there. Through years of looking the wrong way, my thought was confused, but once I came here, now my thought is lining up. Little by little, pieces of the picture are coming into focus, and I know that it is only possible because what I read in the lesson and hear in the discussions line up with what He has placed in my heart. It is an inspiring process to go through, and I am very grateful to God and this church for these blessings. Thank you!
