In Thy Hand

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“O Lord: Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand.” Psalm 31

I love this promise in the Bible. I am grateful for the clear teachings at Plainfield from the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy’s writings. From these precious books we learn how to trust and live the prayer, “My times are in thy hand.”

Before Plainfield I believed my time was at the mercy of: health laws, thoughts of past, anxiety for the future, others demands, my planning and will power, the clock, etc.

Now I am understanding more about God, His laws and how to be obedient to His precepts. This has been transforming how I live and think each day. When I find myself with challenges or drifting I have tools to bring me back in line with God’s plan which is always perfect and good. This Christian discipline has blessed my life.
