Let Christian Science

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    “Let Christian Science, instead of corporeal sense, support you understanding of being, and this understanding will supplant error with Truth, replace mortality with immortality, and silence discord with harmony.” (S&H page 495) Today let all you know and understand of this wondrous Truth support you, let it overthrow error, all the negative and fearful thoughts that would whisper lies in your ear, let it all be overthrown with the Truth of your being as a child of God. Let the understanding that you are an immortal being, created by God with no beginning or end, forever held in His care, let this eternal Truth replace forever the wicked lie that you are a miserable mortal doomed to mortality. And let all the loving, powerful words from our dear Father-Mother God fill you today so that all the lies of error, all its agitation and tumult will be silenced forever. Let that mind which was in Christ Jesus be your one and only mind and so let us be filled with the sweet calm and peace that can only come from Him.
    The definition of “let” – to permit or allow.
