Look Away From The False Picture

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

    One thing we must all do that the Shunnamite did, is to acknowledge the lie but SHUT THE DOOR on its false reality. Even when shaking with some fear she was able to shut the door and go the the man of God. She had to have had some faith at this point even if not the advanced understanding of the absolute unreality of error. And she was able to answer, It is well, when asked how things were. Like Hezekiah, Daniel and others we too must turn away, look away from error into Truth where we will find what is real and true, God’s forever spiritual perfect creation.
