Love and Joy

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Last night there was a members’ meeting of this Independent church. Such activity and gratitude was expressed with love and joy from all the members! The September 2024 issue of Love is the Liberator was praised for its articles by Mary Baker Eddy and early workers, dedicated souls — reading these bring tears of gratitude. Truly inspiring are articles from current workers bearing witness to Truth, and putting this into practice in daily life. The Watches are a tremendous boon, especially timely are the ones regarding the election season; what a sense of freedom this gives when we turn from personal sense or personal opinions and look to God and His government! (And now there’s a special Watch Booklet, accessed on bottom of home page.)

    One very special article in the Liberator, Opening Up the Print Room, in part explains why this Independent church has stood and still stands as a foundation and beacon of Mrs. Eddy’s pure revelation of Christian Science — deep, selfless love! Many, many thanks to all!
