Love is the Liberator – Our Prayer in Stone

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Thank you for another inspiring issue of Love is the Liberator. I appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that goes into the publishing each month. Reading Mrs. Eddy’s powerful poem, Laus Deo! (on laying the cornerstone of the Mother Church) reminded me of Laus Deo inscribed on the east capstone of the Washington Monument. I found comfort in knowing that Laus Deo, the Latin phrase for Praise Be to God, is inscribed on the tallest structure (555′) in our Nation’s capital. Imagine as the sun rises each morning those glorious rays touch that loving decree to mankind. Praise Be to God! God’s government is in control. The Monument points upward to the Source of All Life, Love and Truth.
